WHAT YOU’LL DO
The primary responsibility of the Bar Runner is to expedite all orders taken by the Bartenders and Cocktail Servers to the guest quickly. Performs all duties in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure the order is correct before serving to the guests.
- Stock the bar with bottles of liquor, water, ice and others.
- Wash/clean glassware.
- Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests’ needs.
- Bus tables and keep bar area clean.
- Stock coolers for the bar with fruit, beer cans, bottles, glasses, etc.
- Ring up food orders on the POS.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 21 years of age.
- Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
- Must present a neat and professional appearance.
- Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.
- Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
PREFERRED
- Work requires 6 months previous server / running experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
- Must regularly lift and/move up to 40 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust, and smoke.
