WHAT YOU’LL DO 
As a Public Areas Department Supervisor, you will set the stage for guest experience with your smile and service. You'll oversee and manage a diverse team of cleaning staff, schedule and assign tasks to cleaning and sanitation personnel and have the ability to train new employees on proper cleaning and sanitation.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 
  • Provide supervision and support to achieve the highest cleanliness standards in the Casino, Public Areas, Offices, and other required areas. 
  • Conduct daily inspections, briefings, and schedule meetings with employees. 
  • Assist with coaching, counselling, discipline, and training of employees.  
  • Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies by monitoring usage, supervise the completion of Team Member training, and directing the labeling of hazardous supplies to ensure alignment with Federal, State, Local, and enterprise regulations. 
  • Analyze department issues and provide recommendations for improvements. 
  • Lead by example and empower Team Members via knowledge sharing and coaching throughout their employment lifecycle. 
  • Monitor and evaluate all day-to-day operations to ensure success. 
  • Utilize a variety of communication channels to effectively facilitate the flow of information throughout the department. 
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary. 
  • Ability to make sound decisions immediately. 
  • Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally. 
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. 
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail. 
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills. 
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards. 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Established ability to develop teams by guiding, mentoring, motivating, coaching, providing feedback, and holding Team Members accountable at all levels. 
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment. 
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams. 
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • At least 21 years of age. 
PREFERRED
  • Three (2) years' prior experience in EVS or PAD for a large-scale resort and casino while in a leadership position 
  • Hotel and/or Casino industry experience preferred. 
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 
  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines. 
  • Must regularly lift and/move up to 25 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.  
  • Must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals with multi-cultural backgrounds. 
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in a various environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust, and smoke.

Compensación: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
